Super Exciting Day!!!

Today something truly exciting happened to me!  I am officially being represented by an agent, yay!!!  She is fabulous and soooo beautiful, she was a model herself and has travelled the world, and used to live in Paris and I am just so so so excited!  She told me I was 3 inches too tall to do catalogue work but that I would be great for magazines and t.v., how cool right?  I also got hired to model another clothing line from Sweet Tater Wear.  Things are definitely getting busy over here.  On top of the modeling, it's September which means my dance classes and gymnastics  have started and skating lessons will be starting in just a few weeks.  Whew, I am exhausted just thinking about it all, aren't you?  lol!

As promised, here are some pics from the last few weeks.  There are some from the Pageant some from my Birthday and some from my Photoshoot.  Also some exciting news, I am waiting to hear from an Agency in Toronto.  Hopefully they want to represent me but if they don't, I have some other agencies I am interested in.  This one isn't even my first choice but since it's the first one to see my pictures, I am still nervous.  Also, I will be meeting with a larger agency in person in a week and a half, hopefully I am having a good day that day, lol!  Well here are some pics, Enjoy!!

Pageant and MY BIRTHDAY!!!

What a busy week!  Saturday I went to St. Catharines for the Miss All Canadian Grand Finals, which was so much fun.  There were 14 girls in my age division and I came in 4th place, which is great because the compitition was fierce.  I won a 2 foot trophy for that and then even cooler, I won a Tiara for a photo contest which I won Queen for (thanks Ms. Tanya, you're the best photographer ever!).
Then on Tuesday, it was my birthday!!!  I had pics done to remember the event (will add them later).  I had a fun little party and an amazing 2 tier castle cake, it tasted delicious.  Then on Wednesday I had a pool party at my Nini's (that's what I call my Grandma).  This has been such an amazing week, and I am beat.  This weekend I am off to a Family Reunion, so another busy few days coming up. 
As for meeting with some potential agents, while I was at the pageant I heard horror stories about one that I am supposed to meet with soon so now I am second guessing my choice and think I may skip her and check out some other agencies instead, I definitly do not want an agent who sounds like a trucker, kwim?

My Photoshoot

Since I will be meeting with a few different Agencies in Toronto over the next 4 weeks, I had a Photoshoot with Tanya from M.E. Photography.  I had a lot of fun, dressing up as a cowgirl was neat and my boots were fabulous!  I'm still working on my smile looking natural on command, it's not as easy as you would think  :)

Busy Week Coming Up

This is my very first Blog, how exciting! 
Well, this week I will be so busy practising for the Miss All-Canadian Grand Finals.  This will be my second year participating, last year I won Beach Queen and a whole bunch of other titles but this year I really want Over All High Point.  I am most excited about the Costume category because I am dressing up as Shirley Temple.  I have the cutest dress, black Mary Janes, and even a giant lollipop to carry.  I think it is the perfect costume for me since I have the natural curls to pull it off.  I will add pictures when I get home.  Wish me luck!
